A fine example of an Aldo Londi design for the serious collector of authentic historic Bitossi Italian pottery. Vintage, 1960’s, Mid-Century modern covered bowl designed by Aldo Londi while head of design at Bitossi Ceramiche; handcrafted for Rosenthal Netter. The bowl features colored, carved stripes with a sloped and tapered lid with blue glaze accent at the top handle. The body has striped turquoise blue, navy blue, lime green, and ivory color glazes with a turquoise glazed interior. The exterior top of the lid and the lower portion of the bowl has the Bitossi crusty brown clay design.
